The San Quintín Bay Bird Festival is an annual event organized by Terra Peninsular to celebrate and promote the conservation of migratory and resident birds in the region. The bay is a key site along the Pacific Flyway, hosting thousands of birds each year. The festival also promotes sustainable tourism and strengthens the community’s connection to nature

In partnership with 20proKuadrat, Frames on Conservation engages residents in creating a greater awareness of protecting nature. Four members of Collective 22 are globally active photographers who work together to develop projects about the relationship between people, nature, and culture. With their narratives, they want to create new, accessible ways of telling stories.

On July 25th, Annual Least Tern Day is organized in collaboration with Pro Esteros, Caracol Museo de Ciencias, Pronatura Noroeste, the Department of Urban Administration, Ecology, and the Environment, Casa de la Cultura, and Mtra. Raquel Manríquez.
The purpose of this event is to raise community awareness about the importance of conserving the Endangered Least Tern, which nests every year in the Punta Banda Estuary, and is a vital species for the local ecosystem.
