A professor’s daughter, Céline’s academic upbringing, layered identity (Chinese American & Swiss), wide variety of photography experiences— including former Lead Staff Photographer for ASICS— and curiosity for understanding the world around her all translate into her work and creative processes.
Her pursuit of meaningful work and passion for conservation storytelling sparked an ongoing project in collaboration with scientists researching the endangered California Least Tern. She photographs the bird-to-human relationship to promote environmental awareness about shared habitats and to highlight the human connection with nature. Her work has been exhibited internationally.
Céline received her B.A. in Sociology and French Literature from Barnard College of Columbia University. She is a member of the Mexico League of Conservation Photographers, Diversify Photo, and represented by ArtWorks Creatives.
Céline’s Code of Ethics:
As a commercial editorial and product photographer, I primarily work with brands in the sports, outdoor, and health and wellness space. The final images are retouched and staged.
As a conservation photographer, all of my photographs depict wildlife in the wild unless otherwise specified. When photographing, I do my best to minimize disturbance as the well-being of the species is top priority. I do not add elements, alter, or manipulate the wildlife in these images.
